Suzuki is undoubtedly one of those automotive brands with a pretty rich 4×4 heritage. They started selling their first 4×4 model, the LJ10, in 1970, and has since created, produced, and sold various 4×4 models. But their position in the global car market became more significant when they pioneered what is now known as the compact SUV segment with the Vitara.

By combining the ruggedness and capability of a 4x4 with the comfort and convenience of a passenger car in an urban-friendly package, the Vitara immediately captured the attention of car buyers and enthusiasts all over the world.

But the greatness of a product isn't only about the amount of success it achieved in terms of sales. A lot of  Vitara owners have some kind of an emotional attachment to their car, which lead to the formation of Vitara clubs and communities all over the world. The Vitara didn't just capture a lot of buyers, it also won the hearts of it's owners.

This blog is dedicated to Suzuki Vitara enthusiasts where ever they may be, whether they own a Vitara or not, who are interested in what Suzuki is up to these days regarding their Vitara Series.

This past couple of years Suzuki has been quite busy developing and releasing new models of the Vitara Series. Which is why we are also aiming at providing the latest news and insights on all models of the Vitara Series. This include latest model launches, motor show reports, sales reports, spy shots and infos on upcoming models, and so much more.

We also have a special section called "The Story of Vitara", where we’ll have posts about the history  and heritage of the Vitara Series from the late 1980s to date.

We are committed to be able to post news updates on Suzuki’s SUV and crossover models on a daily basis, keeping you up to date.
